This modem works great on all operating systems and that includes BeOS (serial only on BeOS!). No USB modems are currently supported under BeOS (as of R5), so this modem is a great choice if you want to have a USB modem for your "other" operating systems or for the future. NOTE: Though this modem was bought from 3COM and does not have the name "US Robotics" ANYWHERE on the box or hardware, the only place you will find this product listed is on the US Robotics site (NOT the 3COM site).
