Although the BeOS driver was available on the motherboard manufacturer's website as this is an _integrated_ NIC, I could not get the driver to be recognized or properly initialized. Docs on product stated some limitation on operation could be expected. The vendor ID tested was Ox1282 .. |

Do not expect this driver to work for you, at least as of this submission. You are encouraged to try it yourself as a revision is possible. Furthermore, use ONLY the Driver URL or "google" the words Davicom 9102 BeOS to get there, otherwise, the site will ask you to install Chinese font since it's based in Taiwan. rating: 1 |

9102AF works perfectly with the driver in the link. Install is perhaps a little tricky, for the script came non exec (easily fixable anyways); if you cannot make it so, just copy/link the appropriate files to the folders.
overall, Neat. Cheap effective NIC, on the lines of the Realtek OEM ones.
Also sold as the CNet Fast Ethernet LAN Card (see CNet PRO200 100/10Mbps Fast Ethernet on http://hardware.frizbe.net/info.php?product=919&category=29&sub=34). rating: 9 |
