Although the box it came in says it uses a Agere chipset, it doesn't. It uses a NEC D72874 chip. The card is identified in BeOS with manufacturor ID 0x1033, card ID F2. Mediapreferences adds a default DV input and output, but the card does not work with a SONY DRV-22E camcorder. The E stands probably for PAL. (The camcorder does not respond to commands, nor is video transferred.)

Tested with both DANO and R5.

Conclusion: card is not usable for me.
