I have (currently) a 4 node LAN (BeOS/Windows) in my house connected via these cards. Very simply - basic, affordable, stable networking... Nuff said! rating: 9 |

They just work, what more can you ask for?
Also has 5 leds, which is cool. And I believe that the DEC chipset on it is quite good. rating: 10 |

I don't know if it's just me, but I can't seem to get my card recognised at all!
I am using R5 PE on an ASUS CUSL-2 MB.
The chipset is Digital 21140-AF, the NIC is marked as an FA310TX C6 ('C' revision, I presume?)
If anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them.. mokeyjoe@(nospam)hotmail.com rating: 5 |

Using Netgear FA310TX Rev-D2 inside a Pentium 233MMX with a Micronics 09-00273-16 Rev A4 motherboard with BeOS Pro 5.0. Card was recognized straightaway and identified as a DEC 21040/21041 based PCI. Once TCP/IP settings entered and BeOS restarted the network services, the card ran beautifully. rating: 10 |
