This chipset is fully supported and works well under BeOS R5. You can add Be supported drives (Linux, MAC, FATxx, NTFS, etc. drives and SCSI CD-ROMs with no problems) rating: 10 |

Also the 2940 UW version works perfect.
Especially on UW - HD's, the system rocks. No need for a UDMA5 comparison - this solution is 100% faster (but more xpensive).
Worked well on burning with SCSI - CD - RW's. rating: 10 |

Did work great. Asked Adapted for BIOS update tough, I had 1.28 or something like that. SCSI RESET command gave some hang-ups. Afther BIOS update 1.32 everything like a sun.... rating: 10 |
