I have one of these (D-Link model DE-660) on my laptop and it has worked great. You need to set up things per the info on betips as deej said, and occasionally you have to issue "cardctl suspend; cardctl resume" commands in the terminal upon startup to get it to be recognized (and restart networking.) (For the record, Win98 occasionally has to take a second try to get the card to work after just booting up, too.) I just wish it did 100bT too :)
Can be found for reasonable cost on eBay, and aside from the large dongle (because it does RJ-45 and BNC network connections) & only doing 10bT, it's great.
