This modem is supported 100% by BeOS. I have had no problems with it at all, and noticed no speed problems. Under Windows, this modem barely works :) rating: 10 |

Cheap as dirt, used as the chipset in some CompUSA generic modems. Works straight out of the box with no driver trouble. You get what you pay for, lousy connect time and only v90 so it seems a bit slow for web browsing, but no slower than under Windows. Turn the speaker off in your init string though it will drive you insane... rating: 9 |

Do somebody know the right sting for this modem. Ive got this modem and it doesn't work. I hear the dailtone with the elsa driver in BeOS but it doesn't dail. And i get a dead phoneline. rating: |
