Obviously you won't get DVD support, but the CDDA extraction works pretty well with cdda-fs. CD-ROM functions are.. well.. IDE. They work, of course.
Don't expect to get far in Creative's website with BeOS-based browsers, tho. rating: 8 |

When VideoLan came out, I gave this model a twirl and it played some DVDs, but not all.
The sound was pretty choppy on the ones it did play. VideoLan is NOT a finished product, so if you own this DVD drive, there is some hope. rating: |
