Overall a good modem if you're stuck with 56k. Has a little trouble with line noise, and gets quite warm. rating: 8 |

External V90 connects to open comm (serial) port. Had to look at supplied CD ini file to get init command. AT&FE1V1&C1&D2S0=0
That is one's and zero's not ell and oh. Only $39 at Fry's and online modemblaster 4/02. Can't beat the price for a real modem. Needed update for windowsXP because it crashs the uncrashable XP. Much faster now that my processor isn't using a winmodem. rating: 10 |

Works as all external modems should with BeOS. Works straight out of the box, no configuration necessary (just use "Generic AT commands" from the BeOS menu of modems). Anyone who still needs a 56K connection, this is definitely an option. rating: 10 |
