The only thing I have used to burn CD's with this drive is MELT 1.2. Tried a newer version, and it didn't work out. I belive the new version of CDRECORD is somehow incompatable, so I still use 1.8 with melt 1.2 with no problems with audio or data CD's. The situation is the same under BeOS R4.5.x and R5.x
