I use the sportser 56 modem setting to run it. but none of the fax and voice stuff works.

I had very bad experiences with this modem. I don't think I did anything wrong (I mean, there's not much you can setup with an external modem anyway) but the thing even had problems running under Windows! (that is, ran only a couple of times) Of course I couldn't make it run under BeOS at all. Luckyly enough, I could return it and get the money back.
