Card ID 1229, Intel Ethernet Express Pro works great for me in the following situations. On ECS K7S5A mobo, on ASUS A7266-E mobo, and in other configurations as well. Very nice, 100% supported, and as noted there is a binary hack for those with embedded ID issues. Enjoy

These card work great!!! Part# 668081-004 with Intel 82558 Controller. CardID 1229: Detected in BONE Config as "/dev/net/eepro100/0". Set it to DHCP, reboot cable modem and BAM... instant Internet access. Excellent up-to-date driver support for other OS like Window$ and Linux. Intel PROSet utility is a nice touch too (just not available in BeOS...grrr). You can get these card pretty cheap on eBay (I got 3 for $10). Just do a search for "Intel 100 NIC".
