Thanks to Thomas Kurschel's [http://www.bebits.com/app/2534] efforts I can now see my 7200rpm IBM Deskstar (connected through a Promise Ultra100 Controller Card) from BeOS! I have no comments on performance except to say that I can now read/write from/to a previously inaccessible HD. I can now have the advantage of a fast HD in windoze AND access from BeOS. :]

The new IDE Replacement Driver tested out & work faster on BeOS as the Busmater-IDE Drivers (VIA 4in1 Performance drivers) on W2YK/Fat32, even with large clustering !

Disk : Newest Maxtor UDMA133, 7200rpm, 2 MB Cache, 40 GB & IBM Deskstar 120 GXP (command queuing works w. IBM on BeOS (usually a great SCSI gizmo !), not on W2YK (assumig this due to the grater differences between the results in BeOS/W2YK with the IBM-Disk) - a bummer !!!!
