Some report having difficulties using this NIC under BeOS. Could be some difference in the different revisions for this card. Yours may or may not work great out of the box, in any case it will work with some tweaking. Remember to enter the hostname in the network preferences under BeOS. Never experienced any problems in Be though. rating: 6 |

I have used these cards quite a bit under Be - both r4.5 and r5.0.3. I obtained the driver from a fellow who apparently had to stop distributing the driver because of copyrighted code or patents or something silly. Never-the-less - the driver I have has worked for me. I do not know if all the cards I use are the same revision or not. If anyone needs the driver, e-mail me. zoontf@sover.net rating: 8 |
