DFE-530TX+ (Realtek 8139 chipset). I've had no problems after I went through some initial work to get it detected. The card is not supported natively, but the chipset (Realtek 8139) drivers are available from the manufacturer. Then, there is a patch that needs to be applied. |

Use the driver link to get the Realtek RTL8139 drivers. After installing the drivers from Realtek, you'll need to install a patch. Then the card should work. Note it will show up as "Realtek 8139 10/100 Ethernet PCI" rating: 7 |

sucks! Could not get to work, with all the drivers and etc; went and bought the Netgear 311 at BadBuy, downloaded the drivers from here (link), and here i am posting on the site with Be. don't bother with this card. rating: 1 |

I don't want to mislead anyone, but my version of this card works perfectly with BeOS 5.03 Pro. It is fast and has been very reliable. rating: 10 |

Installed the above mentioned patch (on R5.0.3pro), slapped the new card in and it works great except for DHCP, but that I believe is another matter. Can't find any hiccups! I'll give it a 9 cause I had to install a patch.
But now windows says it's configuration is invalid and must be reinstalled... suprised? nope... Who cares... I have a NIC that works with Be again - I'm a happy boy! rating: 9 |
