It's a winmodem I guess. Not lucent or pctel though. It does not work despite all of my finangling. I bought this since I didn't expect a "reputable" manufacturer like Creative to put out a winmodem. However I was wrong.

HOLD THE PRESSES!!! Dano seems to have a driver called trimodem. It has been reported to work with winmodems. There is a hack to add modems to what it checks so there is hope. I think it must be for modems that have DSP chips or a two chip winmodem. Check begroovy forums for walther's hack.There is a site with info for the Di5630 and others. I'm typen and your readen, it's workin. You need to get trimodem driver
