This card didn't even let BeOS boot. It always halted at the drives icon.

If I am not mistaken, Kancept sent me his card, which he reviewed above. I'm pretty sure he tested it with an external drive so not sure if that is a factor. In any case, it works for me with an internal drive hooked up to the IDC-50. I hope to get a HD-68 adapter and cable soon and I will try the internal HD-68 and the external HD-68 soon. I will post results here. With BeOS 5.0.3 Pro, this card is detected in both devices and SCSIProbe. I found the disk in DriveSetup, but I can just mount it from the Tracker, which is what I have done.

This is the exact card I sent shatty. I had this in the last PCI slot, and shatty mentioned I might not have had it in a master slot. So shatty now has a really nice pair of HDs and a kick-arse controller card, too! Arg! =B-D

I tried it with the internal HD-68 connector and it works fine with beos. Plug and play the way it was meant to be. I tried it again with an internal HD-50 connector and it works fine with beos again. I also recently got it to work with two drives connected to both internal connectors simultaneously.

I have an external SCSI Yamaha CRW4416SX CD-RW burner that I have been using in beos for a long time with a different card. When I plugged it into the external HD-68 connector though, I couldn't get it to recognize it as a burner. I could mount CDs but not burn them.
