Bought it, plugged it in, tried with an audio CD, worked fine. Later rented a DVD to try it out. First BeOS wouldn't see the DVD, but after i mounted a data CD using the drive, i put in the DVD again... voilá, DVD mounted, VLC loaded it and played it nice and smooth (almost 100% smooth in fact). Great drive, fast, silent, cheap :)
