Working Faster, with SpicyKeys Hotkeys

Thanks to programmer Jeremy Friesner for his ingenuity on this one.

Included in all TuneTracker™ distributions is SpicyKeys, a hotkey program preconfigured to give you fast access to some of the system tools and programs most likely to be of use to TuneTracker™ users. You can launch many commonly-used utilities with a simple keystroke combination of CTRL-ALT plus a third key as shown in the chart below. We recommend you hold down CTRL-ALT with your left hand, and just "tap" the third key once, otherwise you might accidentally open up multiple copies of the program.

Here are the key combos that are pre-programmed into your TuneTracker computer and immediately available:

CTRL-ALT-B	BeShare chat and filesharing utility. Allows instant access to TuneTracker support chatroom.
CTRL-ALT-D	Launches a command line shell called "Terminal," for use in diagnostics and to launch command line scripts and commands.
CTRL-ALT-F	NetPenguin FTP Program.
CTRL-ALT-G	Guido, a tool you can use to look at your hard drive use graphically and determine whether there's any old "dead wood" you want to remove.
CTRL-ALT-M	Mozilla Firefox Browser
CTRL-ALT-N	NetPositive, a quick, simple browser.
CTRL-ALT-P	Pe, our favorite text editor for editing logs.
CTRL-ALT-S	Screen Preferences, for changing screen resolution and color depth.
CTRL-ALT-T	Launches "SimpleTimer," a quick-and-easy stopwatch utility controlled with the spacebar and enter keys.
CTRL-ALT-W	You'll use this one a lot. It launches StyledEdit, the word processor commonly used to edit format clocks, master logs, and program logs.

You can easily add more shortcuts. From BeOS Preferences, choose SpicyKeys, then drag and drop your favorite programs (or folders) into it, assigning each a shortcut key combination. When you're done, save and close SpicyKeys, and your additions will be stored and remembered for future use.
