TUNETRACKER SYSTEM IN ACTION - TUNETRACKER commands

# LiveAssist

When Live-Assist Mode is engaged while running automated, all time-related features such as time-corrects and interrupts are disregarded. The benefit during a live show is there is no danger of Command Center skipping past songs or other events it views as "extra" or "unneeded" when the host chooses to run automated for awhile.

Live-Assist Mode can be entered or exited manually by click-holding or touch-holding on the AUTO button. You will know you're in Live-Assist Mode because the button itself will turn green.

In addition to being turned on and off manually by holding on the AUTO button, you can also toggle Live-Assist Mode right in your program log using the # LiveAssist command described herere.

  •   Examples:

    # LiveAssist On (generally not needed or recommended)
    # LiveAssist Off (assures Live-Assist Mode is turned off when live show is over)

Effective Use of the # LiveAssist Command

  • If your radio station ALWAYS has a show host available during a particular hour, we suggest you omit any time-corrects and interrupts from that portion of the actual log rather than using the # LiveAssist command.

  • If it's uncertain whether there will always be a live show host during a particular hour, meaning you might sometimes need to automate the hour completely unattended, go ahead and include time-corrects and interrupts in place in your log. When there *is* a live host, he or she can click-hold or touch-hold on the AUTO button to toggle Live-Assist Mode on and off. But, since humans are only human, it's advisable that you add a "# LiveAssist Off" to the log, to assure the host doesn't walk away away and leave Command Center in Live-Assist Mode.
