## Comment Lines (Memo Lines)
Any line in your format clock that begins with ## (two pound signs) is considered a "comment line" in the TuneTracker System. Known by our system as both "comment lines" and "memo lines," they are used to add notations to your logs, for your own reference.
Comment lines come in handy as a way to add notes of clarification and reminders, as well as to add blank lines for spacing, making your logs easier to read. These lines are disregarded by TuneStacker, which just passes them along and places them on your program logs. TuneTracker also just passes them along, to your output log.
In TuneTracker Command Center, it's possible to view the comment lines in your program log, by hitting the "3" key on your keyboard. Hitting "3" again will hide the comment lines.
Comment lines are useful as notations to yourself or others, indicating the purpose of various parts of your format clocks. You can also use double pound signs (##) in front of lines in your format clocks that you want to temporarily disable.

## Comment Lines
Comment lines are useful in many ways.
- Examples:
##
## Noon News Segment
## Top of the Hour
## START OF SUNDAY LOG
## Remove item below on January 1st
## /boot/path/sports/fishingreport.wav
As you can see above, a Comment line can be used to do things like creating blank lines for clearer reading of your log files, marking the start of a segment of programming, serving as a reminder for future reference, or, as shown in the final example, temporarily disabling a line which you want to later add back in.
You can also add entirely blank lines to your logs as spacers and to make them easier to read, though we suggest you do so judiciously, since a large number of them will slow down the loading of your program log in TuneTracker.
