Supported Audio Formats
You can play a wide array of audio formats using the TuneTracker System. Not only that, but within each format, you can mix and match sampling rates, mono and stereo, and bitrates. The TuneTracker System can handle all of the following file formats:
- MP3, MP2, WAV, AIFF, ADPCM, IFF-8SVX, MIDI*, MOD*, Ogg Vorbis and, (Command Center 3.2 and higher) AAC/MP4
Feel free to use a variety of bit rates and bit depths. Here are a few examples, though you can do just about anything.
- 44.1 khz 16 bit stereo
- 11 khz 8 bit mono
- 192 kbps stereo
- 32 kbps mono
- 64 kbps Ogg Vorbis
* Note that, by its very nature, some MOD music is experimental, or wrongly-prepared for broadcast situations. As an example, some MOD music files are designed to loop continuously(!), so check them out ahead of time to make sure they don't do that to you. MIDI should also be considered experimental, though we have had reasonably good experience automating their playback in tests.
