Running Events

Fetchit! is designed to run unattended — set it up once and let it do its thing.

Automatic Runs

Once an event has a schedule, Fetchit! monitors the clock and fires the event at the right time automatically.

⚠️

Fetchit! needs to be running for scheduled events to fire. Consider setting it to open at login.

Running an Event Manually

Select any event and click Run. The event starts immediately regardless of its schedule. Great for testing or running something outside its normal schedule.

Watching an Event Run

While running, the event's dot turns yellow. Click the Results Log tab to watch it in real time.

Stopping a Running Event

Click Stop to halt the current step. Fetchit! logs that the run was cancelled.

After a Run

The dot turns green (success) or red (error). Check the Results Log for details.

💡

Tip: Always do a manual test run when you set up a new event. Much better to find a problem now than at 3am.
