Kick uses RTMPS with a personalized ingest URL — unlike YouTube or Facebook, your Kick server URL is specific to your account, so you need to enter both the server URL and your stream key.
Log into kick.com and go to Dashboard › Stream (or visit kick.com/dashboard/stream directly). You’ll find your RTMP URL and Stream Key on that page. Copy both.
Kick’s RTMP URLs look like rtmps://fa723fc1b171.global-contribute.live-video.net — a long hostname with no path at the end. That’s normal. SignalCaster handles bare hostname URLs correctly.
Open Settings, choose Kick from the Stream Using selector, then fill in both fields.
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Stream Using | Kick |
| Server URL | Your Kick RTMP URL from kick.com/dashboard/stream |
| Stream Key | Your Kick stream key (starts with sk_us-west-2_…) |
| Bitrate | 128–320 kbps depending on your upload speed |
Click Start Streaming. The Kick dashboard will show your stream as live once SignalCaster has connected and started sending audio. Kick streams are automatically visible to your followers unless you’ve configured otherwise in your Kick dashboard settings.
