When you need to recover a file — maybe something was accidentally deleted, or you want to roll back to an earlier version — the Restore tab is where you go.
If you have multiple backup destinations, use the "Restore from:" dropdown at the top of the Restore tab to choose which backup to search. Each destination is listed by the name you gave it on the Backup tab.
TuneVault uses type-ahead filtering — results appear and narrow as you type, with no need to press Return. After a brief pause (about a third of a second), matching files appear in the list below.
Results show the full path within your Station folder, so you can tell exactly which file is which — even if several files share similar names.
Check the box next to each file you want to restore. You can also use the "All" checkbox above the results list to select or deselect everything at once — useful when you want most of the results and only need to uncheck a few.
Click Restore Selected (on the right side, above the "Restore Entire Station" button). Each selected file is copied from your backup to its matching location in your live Station folder.
If a file already exists in your Station folder, TuneVault will ask for your confirmation before replacing it. You'll see exactly how many files would be overwritten and can cancel if anything looks wrong.
Suppose you accidentally deleted a promo file. You start typing "Saturday" and TuneVault immediately shows:
Station/Promos/Phil Baker - Saturday Night Requests.wavCheck the box, click Restore Selected, and it's back in your Station folder exactly where it was.
The search is case-insensitive. Typing "phil" will find "Phil Keaggy" just as easily as "PHIL BAKER."
