Dane here. Every so often it's worth stepping back and looking at everything that's quietly landed across the TuneTracker System over the last couple of months — because if you're not in the habit of hitting Check for Updates regularly, there's a real chance you're sitting on an older build and missing things you'd actually use.
So here's the rundown, app by app. Some of it is new capability, some of it is just "this used to be a little annoying and now it isn't" — both kinds matter.
AutoCast
- Relay-For command — pull in a live network feed (news, traffic, syndicated programming) for a set duration right from your program log, just like Live-For works for a mic. Volume boost/cut included for feeds that run quiet.
- Program Audio Plugin Chain — insert Audio Unit effects (compression, limiting, EQ, reverb) directly on your program output from Settings > Audio. Works with Apple's built-in effects or anything else installed on your Mac.
- UDP Metadata Output — send Now Playing info as a UDP packet on every song change, for RDS encoders and streaming metadata injectors.
- Simpler Traffic Log Import — one clear, current configuration every time you reopen the import dialog, no more guessing which settings are live.
- Plus a string of reliability fixes: a freeze on startup while the log loads is gone, the overnight schedule refresh is tighter and more accurate, and the free-tier library cap now enforces correctly.
Librarian
- Outcue detection — Librarian now listens to the end of your spots, sweepers, and PSAs and transcribes the closing words automatically, so AutoCast can flash the cue on the deck before a host comes back live. Works by folder (with ongoing monitoring) or by song, fully on-device — nothing leaves your Mac.
- Music Sleuth (new Detect tab) — fingerprint a song and look it up online to fill in Artist, Title, Album, and Genre when your files have no useful tags. Free via AcoustID, with an optional paid fallback.
- Faster everyday workflow — drag files straight from Finder into any folder, delete songs with a keystroke (Undo included), and folder browsing now correctly shows everything nested underneath, not just what's sitting loose at the top level.
AirStaff Studio / ChatterCast
- Our AI-voiced weather forecaster keeps getting sharper: morning forecasts now lead with today's weather instead of jumping to tonight, multi-day outlooks call out exactly which days turn stormy, and we've cleaned up a handful of awkward phrasings so it reads more like a real person and less like a machine.
ClockWork
- TuneStacker now remembers your last-used log format and Auto/Manual mode between sessions, and picks up Librarian edits immediately — no more manual refresh.
- ClockMaker gets quality-of-life polish: Tab now moves you field-to-field in the How Box, blank lines render as proper visual separators, and newly cloned clocks are auto-selected so you're not hunting for them in the list.
TuneVault
- Dark Mode — TuneVault now follows your Mac's appearance automatically.
- Fixed a false "drive full" alert that could pop up on external or network backup destinations that had plenty of free space.
SignalCaster
- Fixed a Settings bug where your station folder path could silently revert, breaking Now Playing metadata without warning — browsing to a folder now saves correctly every time.
