TuneTracker™ QuickTip

A quick way to find out "how many"

Suppose you have a program log open in Edit (formerly "Pe") and you want to know how many times a certain thing occurs in the program log, such as songs by a certain artist, commercials by a certain advertiser, etc. Easy to do. Do CTRL-F to open a find window, type your search criteria into the top text box, and click Find. Now close the find window and look in the lower left corner of the main window, and voila, there's a tally of how many instances it found. To jump through them found items one at a time, repeatedly do CTRL-G and Edit will skip you through the log to each instance.
