TuneTracker™ QuickTip

Restoring trashed files the quick, easy way

It's not an uncommon thing to trash a file or a group of files, and later have a change of heart about it. No worries, you can normally just grab them out of the Trash folder (unless you've since emptied it, in which case you can stop reading). But you may not remember exactly where the file(s) had been stored before you trashed them. That's where Haiku®/Haiku's "restore" feature comes in handy.

You can put files back exactly where they had been by opening the Trash, selecting the file(s) you want, right-clicking on the selection, and choosing Restore. The files will disappear from the Trash and be put back into their original folders, safe and sound.
