Displaying Web-Based Announcer Scripts

In AutoCast 4.1 and above, it's possible to display a script for your announcers to read, even if it's located out on the web somewhere! Adding a line like this to your master log will cause the text to automatically be retrieved and displayed in AutoCast's scrolling text box.

# ShowText http://www.sloansdrugstore.com/sloansdrugstore_ad1.txt

Additionally, you can set any of the configurable ButtonPad and or MyShow button to retrieve and display a web-based script. In the button editor, make the button type "Text" and for the data textbox, just enter the URL all by itself, such as:
